Proudly named after Hurtigruten's founder, Captain Richard With, this ship carries a legacy of pioneering coastal travel. Launched in 1993, the MS Richard With underwent a major upgrade in 2022 to become a greener, hybrid-electric ship, significantly cutting emissions with battery packs and new engines. The interior boasts a modern Nordic décor that provides an elegant backdrop to the stunning scenery outside. The ship has a total capacity of 691 passengers across its 7 decks. Amenities include a main restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows, a fine-dining restaurant (Kysten), a bistro, a bakery, two lecture halls, a large sun deck, two outdoor hot tubs, a sauna, and a panoramic fitness room.
