Start dreaming of an idyllic Tuscan escape overlooking Florence

Following an extensive 18-month renovation, Villa San Michele is delighted to reopen its doors on April 28th.

This Renaissance masterpiece has been meticulously transformed, offering guests a renewed and captivating experience.

Thirty-nine beautifully reimagined rooms and suites, thoughtfully distributed throughout the former 15th-century monastery and its stunning gardens, are designed to enhance your connection with the breathtaking surrounding landscapes.

A significant new addition is the hotel’s first-ever spa, created in collaboration with Guerlain — a sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation. This is complemented by energizing experiences, including breathwork, yoga, and sound healing, curated by JJ Martin.

Discover the artisans reviving this Renaissance legend

Florence-based Luigi Fragola Architects redesigned Villa San Michele to stand as a testament to Renaissance artistry while offering a “home away from home” feel. To achieve their vision, they commissioned renowned local artisans to craft intricate design details. From exquisite scagliola tables by Bianco Bianchi to precious tapestries and frescoes by Elena Carozzi, every detail narrates a story of Italian craftsmanship and savoir-faire.
