Map of Iceland over a solar eclipse image. Text reads "Sail into the Path of the Solar Eclipse." Major cities are marked.

Awaken each day to waterfalls, fjords, and volcanic landscapes on a 5-night journey uniquely timed to perfectly position you for a once-in-a-lifetime celestial event: Iceland's first total solar eclipse in over 70 years, on August 12th.

Aboard Evrima, you'll witness two minutes of complete darkness as the moon obscures the sun — a phenomenon that won't return to Iceland until 2196.

DEPARTING SATURDAY, AUGUST 8, 2026

Cityscape of Reykjavik with colorful houses and snowy mountains. Adjacent, a woman in a black swimsuit floats in a blue geothermal pool.

— DAY 1 —

REYKJAVÍK

Begin in Reykjavík, where modern design, colorful streets, and nearby geothermal landscapes set the tone for your journey.

Majestic mountain under blue sky with grassy hill, small waterfall, and flowing river. Sunlight casts a warm glow. Peaceful scene.

— DAY 2 —

GRUNDARFJÖRÐUR

Framed by the iconic Mount Kirkjufell, Grundarfjörður opens onto lava fields, pebbled beaches, and the dramatic terrain of Snæfellsnes.

Puffin among pink flowers on a grassy cliff; adjacent to a landscape of purple flowers, a house, and snow-capped mountains under a blue sky.

— DAY 3 —

ÍSAFJÖRÐUR

Sail into the serene waters of Ísafjörður, a peaceful setting for whale watching and encounters with Iceland’s northern wildlife.

A scenic town with colorful buildings and a harbor in the foreground, set against snow-capped mountains under a sunset sky. Vibrant, tranquil mood.

— DAY 4 —

AKUREYRI

Set near the Arctic Circle and up a dramatic fjord, Akureyri blends small-town charm with galleries, gardens, and streets framed by mountains.

A couple on a boat points at a partial solar eclipse. They're smiling, next to a telescope, with a calm water backdrop at sunset.

— DAY 5 —

WITNESS THE SOLAR ECLIPSE ON EVRIMA

Enjoy a day at sea off Iceland’s east coast, ideal for viewing the total solar eclipse as well as for enjoying the spa, relaxation with an ocean view, and unhurried moments aboard Evrima.

Steam rises from a tranquil blue lagoon surrounded by rocky terrain and distant snow-capped hills under a cloudy sky. Serene and misty.

— DAY 6 —

REYKJAVÍK

Return to Reykjavík with time to explore cafés, design shops, and geothermal pools before the journey’s end.
